Where Research Meets Denim This April

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (#SAAM) comes around each April, offering a chance for us to transform increased attention to sexual assault into collaborative action for change.

This year, the Traumatic Stress Studies Group is participating in #SAAM by getting the word out about sexual assault research on Prevalence (Week 1), Common Reactions to Disclosures (Week 2), and Impacts (Week 3) — culminating in a focus on Change (Week 4).

We invite you to follow along on social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) each weekday to find links to links to research articles and resources alongside images created by Adi Rosenthal. The full gallery of Adi’s Denim Day-inspired images will be available here – check back as we add one each weekday during April!

We invite you to join us this April to learn more about sexual assault — and then to transform that learning into collaborative action throughout the year ahead!

Week 1: Prevalence

Week 2: Reactions to Sexual Assault Disclosures
