April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (#SAAM).
Translating the awareness that we build each April into action is essential to preventing and responding to sexual assault in our communities.
Our Traumatic Stress Studies (TSS) Group team believes that research has an important role to play in translating research into action. But that research has to be accessible to be useful to taking action.
To help make research accessible for action this #SAAM, our team will share new blog posts each Monday in April. The posts will spotlight research that sheds light on how sexual assault adds to multiple, intersecting inequalities.
Join us in translating awareness into action by checking out this week’s post on sexual assault and economic costs by TSS Group Member Amber Fredrick.
And check back each Monday in April for more!
